As a Assembly Mechanic Prototype you receive the assignment from the Engineering department to build a new module specifically designed for a customer project. Together with your colleagues from the Engineering department, you determine the assembly sequence and specifications that the prototype must meet. Subsequently, you create work instructions for the production of the module, ensuring clarity on how to manufacture it for future series. These tasks are performed both inside and outside the Cleanroom, depending on the sensitivity of the components to dust particles.

The exciting and challenging aspect of this role is that you are involved in the entire process, from work preparation to inspecting the products and components you have created. Here’s what you can expect:

  • To build the prototype, you first extract the necessary information from the system, such as drawings, photos, electrical schematics, and notes.
  • Next, you gather the required tools and materials and assemble the modules, cabinets, and assemblies according to the specified quality standards.
  • While assembling, you create work instructions for subsequent series and generate a list of improvements and a report with all necessary adjustments.
  • Finally, you verify the completeness of your work and ensure that the product functions as desired.
  • All of this takes place within a modern factory equipped with the latest technological tools and machines!

You utilize your technical knowledge and creativity to achieve the desired result, even when not all information is always complete. The electronic modules and cabinets you build will be used in industries such as medical, automotive, semiconductor, and defense. In this role, you will work in a 2-shift system. Your working hours are as follows:

  • Morning shift from Monday to Friday, from 06:00 to 14:50.
  • Afternoon shift from Monday to Thursday, from 14:40 to 24:00.
  • On Fridays, your afternoon shift will be from 14:40 to 21:30, ensuring you won’t be home late on Fridays!

  • You have completed at least an MBO diploma level 3/4 in mechatronics, WTB or electrical engineering
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in assembling / assembling mechatronic parts or products
  • You can work in a structured and accurate way, because precision is required when assembling products
  • Good command of the English language is a must because of English instructions and its use in the workplace
  • You are looking for a full-time job and are available to work in a 2-shift schedule

  • A starting salary around € 2.965,- which grows to € 3.410,- including 15% shift allowance
